Since my incarceration: I've sought to further my education by earning a certificate as a legal assistant/paralegal from the Blackstone Career Institute; also, I've given a TEDx Talk on label biases; became an invaluable member of the Attica Youth Assistance Program - which is not a scared straight program - where I speak with at-risk youth, in hopes of preventing them from replicating my mistakes; and currently I am finishing writing my first novel.
