Hello there ! I am Ms. Eva Kareen . I am 35 years, Allentown Pennsylvania. I am
diagnosed with CKD , The doctor said Chronic kidney disease (CKD) means that my
kidneys are not working as well as they once did. Various conditions can cause
CKD. Severity can vary but most cases are mild or moderate, occur in older people,
do not cause symptoms and do not progress to kidney failure.
People like me with any stage of CKD have an increased risk of developing heart
disease or a stroke. This is why it is important to detect even mild CKD. Treatment
may not only slow down the progression of the disease, but also reduce the risk of
developing heart disease or stroke.
Well I believe it apparently stems from an illness when I was 10, Without instant
treatment a Patient with ESKD are at increased overall risk for cancer. This risk is
particularly high in younger patients and gradually diminishes with age. Medical
specialty professional organizations recommend that physicians do not perform
routine cancer screening in patients with limited life expectancies due to ESKD
because evidence does not show that such tests lead to improved patient outcomes.
