*My fur babies! I've had a mini zoo of many species my entire

much as I do! Obviously not a deal breaker though. Currently,
I've got a snoozing pup on my lap, 2 kitties, a 30 year old
turtle and 2 leopard geckos.
*Old horror films! Nothing makes me happier than sitting down
to a Vincent Price, or any b&w, film and experiencing
suspense, mystery and elegance of the story. I won't deny the
fact that I love a good slasher, I grew up with Hellraiser
after all.
*Museums! I love learning about old cultures and their
artifacts. Ancient Egypt is a favorite time frame. I consider
Howard Carter to be a role model. I'm wildly in love with
mummies!
*Vintage things! I collect old photos and cabinet cards. I
LOVE having little pieces of the past, especially a snippet of
someone's actual life. I feel like they're not really gone if
I have their photos. Anyone else have a love for older things?
Some other random things I enjoy are the beach, reading,
vintage theaters, art, sending pretty snail mail/packages,
grabbing drinks with my sister, Halloween, SO much more! I
hope I've grabbed someone's interest:)

After quite a while I would love to re-start writing letters again. I did it for the last 25 years but during the last two or three years it got a bit hectic. So:
I am looking for longlasting snail mail (NO e-mail please!) penpals from all over the world (also from Germany, of course), at any age or gender - everyone who is looking for a serious (pen-)friendship is welcome! Don't be shy I am a very open-minded person.
I live in Freising and work in a museum in Munich as a restorer, so I am interested in old historical objects and how to safe them for further generations. Also the ethnological aspects of museum goods is now one of my big interests.
Writing letters is one of the greatest gifts you can get and I consider my pals as real close friends. They are not just an address in my diary, they are real friends to me. I love to share my thoughts, ideas, wishes, good and bad times with you, talk and phantazize about all and everything, and also give that in return.
You will always have a loyal and truthfull friend in me who is there for you. I'd like to have more or less regular writers - I know the older we get the more we have to do, family, work, studies and so on, but at least a letter once a month would be great.
