I am an older gentleman who grew up in an age when letters were a viable way to communicate. I can remember my parents sending letters to their brothers and sisters, as "long distance" phone calls were reserved for more dire news (deaths, serious illness, etc.). When I was in college and in the military, letters were the most viable way to keep in touch with family and friends; phone calls back then were more expensive than letters. In the military, "mail call," when mail was handed out, was the highlight of each and every day! So, I have always liked writing and receiving letters! (I prefer snail mail over electronic communication.) I would be happy to hear from like-minded individuals, gender and age do not matter and I accept penfriends from any country. I am open to writing the first letter and any letter that I receive will receive a reply! I would love to hear from you!
