I am looking for pen friends because I enjoy communicating with people in free society from around the world. It is a way for me to experience freedom by proxy, to mitigate the social and developmental stagnation that occurs while incarcerated, and just to meet new people who take time out of their day to correspond with prisoners. Its nice to know whats really happening outside of this prison. It would be nice to get other people's views and experiences on topics of interest. As an Arizona prisoner, I have no internet access, very little televised media options, fewer still of any legitimacy or comprehensive unbiased coverage. Personally, I have a profound respect for nature(natural systems, ecology), a love for books (For my entire life, reading has been my passion, and books have been my companions, friends, mentors and treasures), and a desire to make a lasting contribution to the world, and the life it sustains. My formal education is limited, consisting of high school, some college and vocational training. Mostly, I am an autodidact regarding topics of interest, to the limited degree obtainable in prison. I am politically, religiously, and socially independent, and respect the rights of others as long as they respect mine. Since my incarceration began, most of my time has been occupied by work, learning, and to a lesser degree, socializing with a very few select friends. Presently I am attempting to learn banking, Trust Management, and how to operate as a Secure Party Creditor, despite my incarceration.
